Women run for women - against violence. This year, the Limburg Women's Shelter once again followed a tradition that is now 21 years old and will hopefully continue for many more decades: the Women's Run. The aim of the event is to draw attention to social grievances, violence and oppression and to collect donations to finance the women's shelter itself. For this purpose, our female colleagues once again ran together and in solidarity.
On the weekend, the time had come - our women competed in the nearby city forest of the neighboring city of Diez. Fresh air, pleasant temperatures and the shade of the forest combined with the great motivation of our colleagues to create a euphoric atmosphere: our 21 runners completed lap after lap until, after two hours, they had covered no less than 219 kilometers!
The financing of women's shelters is still not sufficient and especially not secure in 2021. Harmonic Drive SE therefore supports the Limburg women's shelter with a company donation, private donations from employees and the board of directors.
