2. Purpose and Legal Basis of Processing

We process the contact data provided on your business card (e.g. name, company, email address, phone number) for the purpose of conducting and administering the giveaway. 

The legal basis for this processing is the performance of the giveaway contract pursuant to Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR.

Furthermore, we use the data for follow-up emails after the trade fairs. The legal basis for this processing is also Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR, which permits processing for the purpose of initiating and maintaining a business relationship.

 

 

3. Recipients of the Data

Your data will be treated confidentially, entered into our CRM system and will generally not be shared with third parties.

 

 

4. Data Retention Period

The data will be stored for as long as required by statutory retention and warranty obligations. The business cards themselves will be destroyed in a data protection-compliant manner after the relevant data has been entered into the CRM system.

 

 

5. Your Rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, or restriction of the processing of your data, as well as the right to data portability. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
